Box Technologies produce Quality EPoS Solution for Quality Foods

Box Technologies, the UK provider of customer interface technology solutions, in conjunction with software partner MSP, has developed and delivered a new EPoS infrastructure for Quality Foods, one of the best and biggest Asian food stores in UK and Europe.

Box Technologies was chosen to produce a robust, total EPoS solution to manage Quality Foods' average of 1,700-2,000 transactions per day, with a typical turnover of around £120,000 per week. The total solution developed combining MSP's software and Box Technologies hardware simplifies stock control, enhances ordering capabilities, whilst providing robust and detailed reports for utilisation within Quality Foods as well as simplifying accounting processes. Sourcing all the EPoS terminals and peripherals from Box Technologies provided a measurably better level of service and much lower investment than dealing with multiple providers, with minimal disruption during delivery and the roll out process.

Box Technologies' Account Management team identified the Toshiba WILLPOS B10 as the ideal total solution, as it offers a small footprint within a stylish package, superior build quality, low power consumption whilst being pre-configured to operate within harsh, demanding retail environments.

Dave Dooley, Sales & Marketing Director Box Technologies said "Quality Foods combines the convenience of a supermarket with the expertise and service of a specialist shop, and we're absolutely delighted to be able to support this thriving retail outlet with the latest EPoS systems. Quality Foods understands that for its business to grow, the EPoS estate must be running at all times, with minimal downtime and that is why they chose our hardware."

"Maintaining EPoS technology can be problematic at the best of times", said Romesh Perera, Managing Director, MSP Group. "As the need to prolong the life of existing EPoS investment and the tightening of corporate purse strings bites, the need to have a dedicated partner who understands the retail sector is essential. Their expertise, experience and visionary abilities were amongst the key criteria for choosing to partner with Box Technologies".

Vipul Sedani, Founding Partner, Quality Foods added "With the UK in recession, those of us operating in the retail industry need to ensure we are able to both attract and retain customers. Working with a quality EPoS provider such as Box Technologies means our existing point of sale infrastructure is cutting edge, but also, when the time is right, we know we have a trustworthy partner to advise on new technology to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum."

The new EPoS system has introduced many significant business benefits to Quality Foods since roll out, including faster transaction times, better stock management, improved reporting capabilities and have shown outstanding return on investment by reducing costs and boosting customer satisfaction.
