Organised by the independent iF International Forum Design GmbH, the iF product design award is considered as one of the most prestigious design awards with over 2600 product entries of 48 countries and 16 categories from around the globe. With a heritage that goes back over 50 years the iF International Forum Design GmbH is responsible for the renowned iF design awards. All award-winning entries from one year will also be presented - either live or as multi-media installations at the iF design exhibition in Hanover, Germany which will run in parallel to CeBIT trade show in March 2012. In addition, all 2011 award-winning entries will be on display at a multi-media exhibition in the city of Haikou on Hainan Island in China that will last for several months.
